8月28日，2024年国家水稻新品种核心展示示范现场观摩会在四川成都崇州举行，会上公布了29个综合性状表现优秀的水稻展示品种。
近年来，我国水稻种业快速发展，种业自主创新能力显著提升，一大批优质、抗病、高品质的新品种快速涌现。水稻品种数量剧增丰富了农民用种选择，但也增加了农民选种用种难度。
“如何让真正优秀的品种脱颖而出，发挥作用，让老百姓方便地选到最适合当地种植的品种，成为新时代种业工作的重大课题。”全国农业技术推广服务中心农艺师张笑晴表示，水稻品种评价展示是行之有效的途径。据悉，本次展示品种共145个，其中包含11个国家核心展示评价品种，134个长江流域省份及四川省评价展示品种。
品种好不好，田间对比见分晓。“生育期有点迟，但抗倒性比两边的品种好。”“有一点瑕疵，但不失为一个好品种。”……会前，田间鉴评专家组走进位于隆兴镇黎坝村的长江上游优质粮油中试熟化基地，对展示品种的生育期、整齐度、抗倒性、丰产性等关键指标进行综合评价。
根据专家田间鉴评意见，包括华浙优210、筑优筑农丝苗在内的29个品种获得推介，其中包含品香优秱珍、甬优4949等14个“川种”。此外，推介品种中，川康优2115、玉龙优1611、青香优19香等品种曾入选首批《国家农作物优良品种推广目录》。
“本次评价品种多为2级以上优质稻，品质好，产量较高，整体抗性表现较好。”田间鉴评专家组组长、国家品种审定委员会稻专委会委员钟育海介绍，此次获推品种均为优中选优，将有效促进长江上游水稻品种更新换代。
2019年起，四川在全国率先开展省级新品种展示评价工作，累计投入资金近4000万元，构建起7个国家级、28个省级、35个市（县）级展示评价基地组成的三级展示评价及安全性监测网络。如今通过展示评价筛选出的宜香优2115、川单99、川油81等优良品种已成为长江上游当家品种。
“下一步，我们将不断优化评价体系，积极探索审定后品种跟踪评价机制，为种业发展提质增效打下良好基础，切实服务好农业发展和乡村振兴战略实施。”农业农村厅种业发展处一级调研员周孝强表示。
