眼下正是春季蔬菜批量上市的季节，近日，新京报记者从北京市农业技术推广站获悉，目前，北京发展特色蔬菜种植两万亩以上，包括黄瓜、番茄、辣椒等几十个品种，丰富了市民的菜篮子。
“五一”前夕，新京报记者前往位于通州区张家湾镇小北关村的北京吸引力智慧农场探访，一栋栋智慧大棚里，黄瓜等蔬菜正值成熟期。农场主张宏元告诉记者，去年，农场尝试引进了新品种黄瓜，2000个种子撒进土壤，经过精心的管理，最终结出了一根根口感脆爽的新品种黄瓜。“试验种植后，市场反馈很好，不够卖，今年就大规模扩种了。”张宏元介绍。
据北京市农业技术推广站推广研究员王铁臣介绍，农场的新品种黄瓜，种植管理并不难，但管理不到位，就会出现坐瓜率低的情况。为此，推广站指导农场合理调控夜间温度、保持适宜昼夜温差、科学调节营养生长和生殖生长的关系，精细化管理水肥，最终该品种坐瓜率已经从前期的40%提高到了80%，日产量达到了1000斤。
位于通州区于家务回族乡西垡村的北京永盛园农业种植中心是全市首家生菜专业育苗基地，目前基质搅拌、装盘、压穴、播种等各个育苗环节均已实现机械化，年育苗量达2000万株。基地在自育自用的同时，也为周边生产主体提供种苗服务。
据基地负责人介绍，生菜是北京第三大蔬菜作物，年播种比重10%左右。“我们基地主要以生菜生产为主，直供多家快餐龙头企业。不过，生产过程中，存在着品种单一、劳动力成本高、土壤退化等问题。”
对此，北京市农业技术推广站通过开展优新品种引进、良种良法配套技术研究与推广、智能化自动化技术应用，帮助企业降本增效、增产提质，以科技赋能蔬菜生产，帮助企业高质量发展，实现了育苗、生产、配送的全产业链农业企业发展模式，目前春季球生菜生产面积100亩，平均亩产稳定在4500公斤左右，增幅20%。
新京报记者了解到，近年来，北京市农业技术推广站积极开展高品质、功能型蔬菜品种的引进与优质高产技术推广，更新番茄、黄瓜、辣椒等主栽作物品种22个，引进推广“富钙油菜”、“富硒芥兰”、“富硒西红柿”、紫背天葵、板蓝根等功能型蔬菜品种50个，恢复“北京塌棵菜”、“心里美”、“鞭杆红”胡萝卜等“老口味”蔬菜品种8个，发展特色蔬菜种植2万亩以上。2023年，北京蔬菜总产达到207.5万吨，同比增长4.3%，2024年第一季度已完成总产15.5万吨。
