油菜倒伏是油菜生长过程中的一种现象，减产率可达40%到60%，严重影响农民生产收益。中国农科院油料所6月26日透露，该所油料作物逆境生物学与抗性改良团队联合西南大学、重庆市农科院相关团队，鉴定出油菜茎秆中决定木质素含量的优异变异和候选基因，对指导油菜抗倒伏性遗传改良具有重要意义。相关研究成果发表在国际知名期刊《工业作物和产品》上。
据介绍，油菜田间倒伏不但会导致菜籽产量损失，还会带来菜籽含油量和品质降低、机械收获成本加大等问题。油菜茎秆中木质素含量影响茎秆强度，是植株抗倒伏性能的重要指标。研究团队利用基于近红外分析模型，大通量鉴定油菜资源群体中木质素含量，通过全基因组关联分析和转录组分析，鉴定出茎秆等组织中决定木质素含量的重要遗传位点和候选基因，开发了优异等位变异的分子标记，为解决油菜倒伏问题、促进油菜量质双升提供了重要理论依据和技术支撑。
