油菜是湖南湘西土家族苗族自治州保靖县的主导农业产业，种植历史悠久。过去，由于油菜薹味道苦涩，村民只采籽榨油。近几年，科技育种让“菜油”两收，助农增收。
4月1日，记者驱车前往保靖县清水坪镇腊洞村油菜种植基地，一探究竟。
在蜿蜒向上的山路两旁，油菜花香弥漫，满地金黄。
行至腊洞村海拔高处，因气温低，在还未开花的油菜地里，村民正在将一根根水灵灵的油菜薹采摘、分拣、打包。 “以前担心摘了油菜薹后，会影响油菜结籽。村里的科技特派员刘文杨带我们去基地观摩后，打消了疑虑，我家就种了6亩油菜，今年光菜薹就能卖1万多元。”村民廖长友说。
近年来，保靖县将油菜作为全产业链重点培育，县农业农村局统筹协调，引进推广景油69、沣油958、沣油730、春云2号、佳和油苔1号等油菜品种，在复兴、清水坪、阳朝、毛沟等乡镇试种成功，市场反响良好。
“如何在有限的土地上做好增收文章，我们一直在探索。”腊洞村党支部书记彭宏明介绍，在进行充分市场调研后，在县农业农村局专家指导下，选择推广种植生产周期短、含油量高的“景油69号”油菜新品种。
腊洞村合作社基地负责人彭宗辉告诉记者，每年春节前后，油菜薹陆续迎来采摘期，最高可卖到8元一公斤，深受长沙、武汉、成都等地客商青睐。合作社油菜薹一年纯收入可达50万元。
除了油菜薹，腊洞村的菜籽油香味浓郁、油色清亮，也是商家争相收购的“香饽饽”。“每亩油菜能产300斤油菜籽，按照100斤的油菜籽能榨40斤菜油的比例计算，一亩地能榨120斤油，每斤菜油能卖10元。”彭宗辉和记者算了一笔账。 油菜花开是风景，结籽能榨油，菜薹还能卖高价，一株小小的油菜全身都是宝。
“2023年，腊洞村每亩油菜在采摘400公斤菜薹后，还能再收获140公斤以上菜籽，每亩平均增收1000元以上，‘菜油两收’的这条路子走对了。”保靖县农业农村局总农艺师黄胜明说。
目前，保靖县以双低油菜为核心的基地稳定在7.5万亩以上，油菜薹种植面积1.5万亩以上。
2个多月后，待油菜籽豆荚饱满成熟，腊洞村又将迎来一年繁忙的时刻，收割、榨油、生产、上市……
