人勤春早，备耕正忙。三月正是春耕备耕的好时节，湖南省衡阳市衡南县农业部门组织开展生石灰撒施作业，帮助改善耕地质量和生态环境，让种植户在好地里安心种“好”粮。
在衡南县云集街道石塘村的连片稻田里，熟悉的机器轰鸣声打破了往日的宁静，农机手正操作着石灰精量撒施机在稻田里欢快地奔跑着，所到之处，便均匀地撒施上了一层细细的白色石灰。“撒施石灰可以改善土壤生态环境，阻断镉等重金属向农作物、果实转移，确保农产品质量安全。”衡南县农业农村局农业资源保护与利用股股长陈文新说。
针对耕地土壤重金属污染治理，该县除采取施用石灰钝化土壤重金属活性外，还采用使用有机肥、品种调整、叶面调控、种植紫云英的方式来改善土壤品质，提高农作物的营养吸收能力和抗病能力，进而提高农产品的质量和效益。
据了解，2024年，衡南县将采购2600余吨生石灰进行撒施作业，持续推进农业耕地综合整治，进一步调动农民粮食生产积极性，引导农民用“好”地、种“好”粮，确保国家粮食安全和人民群众“舌尖上的安全”。
