人勤春早争朝夕。湖北省农机主管部门早安排、早部署、早动员，组织农机技术人员深入各地开展春耕备耕、机械化技术指导工作，打好春耕备耕“主动仗”，掀起了农机闹春耕的热潮。
春耕备耕农机先行。为充分发挥农机购置补贴政策导向作用，鼓励、引导农机合作社和广大农户积极购买和使用高效、复合、智能农机装备，夯实粮食持续稳定丰收根基，各地农机部门强化购机补贴政策引导，加快购机补贴实施进度，优化办理流程，压缩办理时限，提高办理效率。截至目前，全省共实施补贴资金2875.32万元，拉动农机市场1.4亿元，已办理农机补贴4984台，受益农户3978户，全力保障春耕生产的需要。
农机检修是保证春播备耕顺利进行的首要条件。为此，湖北通过集中培训、视频教学、发放指导手册等形式，指导农机合作社和农机户做好农机具的调试、检修及安全技术状态检查，指导农机维修网点采取预约维修、上门服务等方式，保障服务质量和农机安全生产。同时，湖北还组建了省、市、县三级共24支农机作业服务技术服务队，分批分片开展技术服务指导；动员各地通过多种形式组织开展机手培训工作，多途径打造农机“全科医生”和“急诊队伍”，全省已培训机手和修理工达6.7万人次；积极组织基层农机技术人员和农机土专家进村入户，帮助和指导农机手保养、检修和调试各类农机具20万台（套）。
为了提高农机作业效率和水平，湖北及时摸清以小麦和油菜机收、水稻机插（播）为重点的农机作业供求市场信息，及时为机手和农户提供信息服务，并积极协调农机合作社通过网络、电话与农户落实作业订单合同，开展农业生产托管、订单作业，推广应用水稻机械化育插秧技术、水稻机械直播技术、高效植保等先进农机化技术，组织好农机跨区作业，落实好农机跨区作业高速免费通行政策。为重点保障春耕等重要农时期间的农机作业用油，湖北省农业农村部门深化与中石油、中石化等石油供应部门的业务合作，持续为机手提供优先加油、优惠供应、优质服务、免费办理的“三优一免”服务，对农业机械加油实现不低于3%的优惠力度。
