近日，湖北省委召开省委专题会议，听取实施强县工程有关情况汇报，研究部署下一步重点任务。
会议提出，要深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于“三农”工作重要论述，坚持农业农村优先发展，坚持城乡融合发展，统筹抓好三农工作，扎实推进以县城为重要载体的就地城镇化和以县域为单元的城乡统筹发展，有力有效推进乡村全面振兴。
会议强调，要牢牢把握增加农民收入、缩小城乡差距的目标任务，进一步找准实施强县工程的切入点，以钉钉子精神抓好落实。要完善综合性政策措施，不断提升县域公共服务水平，增强县城吸引力、集聚力。要大力发展数字教育、数字医疗，运用数字化技术加快推动教联体、医共体建设。要大力引进培育龙头企业，推动土地经营权有序流转，发展农业适度规模经营。要体系化、标准化推进农村人居环境改善提升，完善寄递物流、污水治理、垃圾处理等设施，建立健全管护机制，建设宜居宜业美丽乡村。
会议要求，全省各地各部门要进一步统一思想、深化认识，细化工作措施，一步一个脚印把强县工程向前推进。要及时总结试点工作，推广行之有效的经验做法。要做好强县工程考核评价工作，发挥考核“指挥棒”作用，引导各级领导干部树牢造福人民的政绩观，加快推进农业农村现代化。
